  • The itinerary may be subject to changes due to availability, external circumstances or improvements to the experience
  • The traveller will be notified of any significant changes

Third-party services

The services included in the trip are provided by external suppliers.

Rumbo & Aventura acts as an intermediary in the selection and coordination of these services, but is not directly responsible for their delivery.

Cancellations

The specific cancellation terms are set out in the relevant section of the Cancellation and Refund Policy

The traveller is responsible for:

  • comply with the health or administrative requirements of the destination
  • have adequate travel insurance (essential)

Participation in the trip

Author-led Tours are designed for small groups and take a cultural and experiential approach.

Participation involves:

  • respect for the group
  • punctuality
  • an attitude appropriate to the proposed experience

Minimum number of participants

Each Author-led Tour requires a minimum number of participants in order to go ahead; this will be specified in each itinerary.

If this minimum number is not reached, Rumbo & Aventura reserves the right to cancel the trip.

In that case, the following will be carried out: a full refund of the amounts paid, including the deposit.

Changes due to external factors

Rumbo & Aventura may make changes to the itinerary for reasons beyond its control (weather conditions, availability, local incidents, etc.), whilst always ensuring an alternative of equivalent value is provided.

3.6. Group trips. Accompanied by Rumbo & Aventura

The group tours organised by Rumbo & Aventura are run in collaboration with external providers specialising in each destination. Fátima Momó acts as tour leader and the group’s point of contact, but the operational organisation of the trip — including accommodation, transport, local guides and included services — is the responsibility of the provider selected for each specific trip.

This means that The specific terms and conditions for each group trip — price, minimum number of participants, deposit policy and cancellation policy — are those of the relevant provider, and will be set out in detail when the travel information is provided to each interested participant.

Minimum number of participants

Each group tour has a minimum number of places required for the tour to go ahead. This number varies depending on the destination and the tour operator, and is specified in the details for each tour.

Should the trip fail to reach the minimum number of participants required, Rumbo & Aventura undertakes to notify those who have registered as far in advance as possible. In such a case, any amounts paid will be refunded in full in accordance with the supplier’s terms and conditions.

Prices

The price of each group trip is provided individually to each interested person, upon request via the contact form. Prices depend on the destination, the provider, the season and the number of confirmed participants; therefore, they are not published on the website.

The final price, as well as what is and is not included, are set out in writing before any payment is made.

Reservation and deposit

A booking for a place on a group trip is confirmed upon payment of an initial deposit, the amount of which is specified in the details for each trip. This deposit is subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant provider and may be wholly or partially non-refundable, depending on those terms and conditions.

The place is not reserved until the deposit has been paid.

Cancellation policy

The cancellation terms — deadlines, penalties and refunds — are those set by the provider of each trip and are communicated in writing before the booking is confirmed. These terms vary depending on the destination and the time at which the cancellation is made.

Rumbo & Aventura faithfully conveys the supplier’s terms and conditions to each participant and acts as an intermediary in the management of the process, but cannot unilaterally amend the refund or penalty policies set by the supplier.

It is recommended that you take out a travel insurance with cancellation cover prior to the booking being confirmed

Liability

Rumbo & Aventura selects its suppliers with care and discernment, prioritising the quality of the experience and the safety of participants. However, as it acts as a tour leader rather than an organising agency, operational responsibility for the trip lies with the contracted supplier.

Any issues relating to the services included in the trip will be dealt with by the relevant provider, with Rumbo & Aventura acting as the group’s point of contact.

4. Payments and the Process

Payments for tourist services are made directly to the official provider.
When I make a booking on your behalf — provided you authorise me to do so — I enter your details solely on the provider’s platform and I do not store or retain any banking information.

For my own services (consultancy, itinerary planning, support for author-led trips or other professional services), payments are not processed via the website, but through external and secure methods, including:

  • Paid links such as Revolut.me o PayPal.me.

  • Bizum.

  • Bank transfer.

I will always send you these methods in a clear and straightforward manner, together with details of the service you have booked and the corresponding amount.

Each payment shall be deemed to have been made once the amount has been received and correctly verified. Until then, the services shall not be deemed to have been formally contracted.

Pre-authorisation of a charge

Prior to any card payment being taken, Rumbo & Aventura will send the customer a payment authorisation form detailing the exact amount to be paid and the nature of the service contracted. The customer must sign this form before the charge is processed. This procedure ensures complete transparency in the transaction and protects both parties: the customer is certain of the amount to be charged, and Rumbo & Aventura has the customer’s express consent before proceeding with the charge.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1. In-house professional services

These include:

  • One-to-one consultations

  • Design of personalised itineraries

  • Creative services and consultancy

  • Exclusive guides

These services are tailored to each individual and require time, analysis and personalised attention.
Therefore:

🔸 They are non-refundable once paid for.

In the case of the one-to-one consultations:

  • If you are unable to attend on the scheduled date, you can reschedule the session on a one-off basis, giving at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Absence without prior notice will be treated as a session attended.

Please also bear in mind that, with regard to tourist services, cancellations and/or refunds will be subject to each provider’s own terms and conditions.

5.2. Author’s Journeys

On author-led trips, payment is for the professional services provided by Rumbo & Aventura during the trip.
The following conditions apply:

  • More than 60 days Before the start of the trip: refund of 100%, minus the deposit.

  • Between 30 and 59 days: 80% refund.

  • Between 15 and 29 days: 30% refund.

  • Less than 15 days: No refunds.

The initial deposit is never refundable.

5.3. Brokered tourism services

This includes any bookings made through external providers (flights, hotels, excursions, transport, insurance, tours, etc.).

Rumbo & Aventura acts as an intermediary, not as the organiser of the service.
Therefore:

  • Each supplier applies their own cancellation and refund policies.

  • You will always be notified before your booking is confirmed.

  • Ultimate responsibility lies with the supplier.

Before finalising any booking, the customer will receive a written document setting out the specific terms and conditions of the service booked, including the relevant supplier’s cancellation and refund policies. This document must be signed and returned to Rumbo & Aventura as confirmation that the customer has read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions before proceeding with payment. No booking will be processed until this signed document has been received.

6. Travel Insurance

I strongly recommend taking out insurance.
For journeys of more than 15 days or to destinations not covered by the European Health Insurance Card, it could be compulsory.

Without insurance, I won’t be able to book tailor-made trips.

7. Documentation and Responsibility of each traveller

Although I will inform you of the requirements when you book a trip, each traveller undertakes to:

  • check the validity of your passport or national identity card,

  • check whether you need visas,

  • check health and entry requirements,

  • to inform us of any personal circumstances relevant to the trip.

I cannot be held responsible for refused entry, out-of-date documentation or ignored requirements.

8. Responsibilities

I act with diligence, honesty and transparency. However:

  • I cannot guarantee the availability of suppliers

  • Nor should we accept unforeseen changes made by third parties

  • Nor shall it be liable for extraordinary circumstances (strikes, weather, closures, pandemics, etc.).

9. Intellectual Property

The texts, itineraries, guides, creative ideas and designs form part of my intellectual work and may not be reproduced or distributed without my consent.

10. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by Spanish and European legislation (the GDPR, the Package Travel Directive and consumer protection regulations).

11. Data Protection and Privacy

Any personal data you provide to me when contracting any of my services will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and current Spanish data protection legislation.

Rumbo & Aventura, represented by Fátima Momó Herranz, is the data controller. The purpose is solely to manage the services you have contracted and to communicate with you in relation to them.

I will not pass on your personal data to third parties unless required to do so by law or where it is strictly necessary for the provision of the service you have contracted (for example, to make a booking with a supplier on your behalf and with your authorisation).

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability by writing to admin@rumboyaventura.com.

A final word

Every trip I design contains a little bit of me: my warmth, my experience and that way of looking at the world that has always been with me.
Thank you for trusting me to be part of your tours.

May every step we take together be a story worth telling.
